ACE Customer Earns Best Practice Award
In May 2015, Combined Cycle Journal (CCJ) honored ACE customer, Waterside Power, with a 2015 CCJ Best Practice Award. Faced with very limited man-power and the threat of harsh penalties, Waterside Power needed to update their control strategy to meet ISO New England’s grid generation requirements. ACE worked with Waterside Power to develop a solution that provided automatic start-up so that the time to breaker closure was minimized and operators had more freedom to monitor plant conditions.
