Global Day of the Engineer

On April 5, 2017, ACE participated in the Global Day of the Engineer celebration. Started in 2016, Global Day is a movement designed to ensure people everywhere understand how engineers make the world a better place and to inspire future generations of innovators. Global Day brings together the international community to celebrate the accomplishments of engineers, engage students in engineering activities, and share the innovations engineers create every day. ACE chose to honor our amazing group of engineers with a breakfast made just for them – donuts. Happy Global Day!

On February 3, 2017, ACE’s Ian Burns and Tim Cole joined the Delaware Valley Chapter of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE-DVC) on their annual ski trip. This year’s outing was held at Blue Mountain Resort located along Kittatinny Ridge, part of the Appalachian Mountains. Our thanks go out to the ISPE-DVC, Hargrove Life Sciences, and Evoqua Water Technologies for a wonderful day on the slopes!

Escape 101

On February 2, 2017, members of ACE’s New England office along with our Siemens process automation partners met up for a night of team building. The evening began at Escape 101 in Danbury, CT. The group took on the challenge of escaping the most difficult room – The Widow’s Room. Working together they were able set a new record, completing the multi-linear puzzle in only 47 minutes and 49 seconds. Afterwards, they celebrated with dinner at Max 40. Great job team!
