STREAM Night at Penn London Elementary School
On March 16, 2018, ACE’s Ian Burns, Kati McLaughlin, and Andy Schott volunteered at Penn London Elementary School’s STREAM (Science, Technology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, & Math) night. Hosted by the PTA, this free event included hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and make-and-take stations geared towards students in kindergarten through second grade. ACE brought our custom PLC-5 gaming system to educate students and their families on how control circuits are wired for lights, switches, and buttons; how the switches use binary math for game selection; how the programs are structured; and how mathematics plays a key role in computer game programming. Our thanks to all involved for a great night!
PartnerNetwork Conference 2018
On March 12 - 15, 2018, ACE’s Dave Erby and Gary Hida attended Rockwell Automation’s PartnerNetwork™ Conference at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando, FL. The annual event is designed with all Rockwell Automation business partners in mind. Attendees included Strategic Alliance Partners, Encompass™ Product Partners, distributors, and Solution Partners, in addition to Rockwell Automation senior managers.
As a Solution Partner, ACE was invited to collaborate with industry peers, participate in open discussions with product managers and company leaders, and attend over 40 sessions focusing on business strategies, industry insights, and go-to-market plans. It was a great opportunity to reconnect with the 850+ business leaders throughout the PartnerNetwork and to learn more about how we can jointly grow our businesses. See you next year!
Pi(e) Day 2018
